Fresh Pond Park

Located at the end of Fresh Pond Road and Cross Highway in Amagansett.

Park is open year-round – sunrise to sunset  

Rest rooms – open mid-May through mid-October

Dennistown Bell Park

Nestled in the heart of Amagansett, NY Dennistown Bell Park is a tranquil outdoor venue.

It offers a serene environment for visitors to enjoy nature, relax, and engage in leisure activities.

Lee Hayes Youth Park

Dedicated to Lieutenant Lee Archer Hayes.

Located at the corner of Town Lane and Abrahams Path,

This facility offers a multitude of activities including tennis with two courts, an oval track for walking, jogging, rollerblading, etc., an in-line youth hockey rink, a basketball court, a skateboard park which includes a half-pipe and rails for grinding, and a club house

Park Hours: Weekdays – After school until dusk

Weekends and Holidays – 9am until dusk (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s)

Summer (mid-June – Labor Day) – 9am until dusk

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult

Adults must be accompanied by a child to play tennis or basketball

Amagansett National Wildlife Refuge

The Amagansett National Wildlife Refuge, is located along the shore of the Atlantic Ocean on Long Island’s south fork.

The refuge is managed by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service as part of the Long Island National Wildlife Refuge Complex.

This 36-acre former lifeboat station was acquired in 1968.The protection and management of fragile shore habitat and wildlife give Amagansett special significance.

The beach section of the refuge is opened to the public
